Serving Dinner to Wounded VeteransNimitz Rotarians serving a dinner of prime rib, potatoes and green beans to families from Wounded Warriors at Nebo before the parade on Friday, Dec. 3rd. The families are bussed in from San Antonio to enjoy the dinner, festivities and front row seat at the parade. Always a rewarding experience. Local Couple Host Scholarship Fundraiser A fundraiser hosted by Craig and Marsha Hildreth for the Nimitz Rotary Scholarship fund was held on May 1st at Marktplatz featuring music by the local musical group The Outlaw Firm. The Nimitz Rotary provided food and gift baskets to raffle. The Nimitz Rotary club would like to thank the Hildreths for hosting this event. Thanks to the generosity of our community we were able to raise over $10,000 for our three scholarship funds. The club just awarded two Fredericksburg seniors and one Harper High School senior each with a $1,000 scholarship.
